factors of obesity
You may think a person is obese only because of over eating. you may imagine them sitting at home in a pile of junk food, stuffing it in their pieholes as fast as they can, but the problem isnt really the quantity, it's the quality. They food we eat now a days is filled with harmful chemicals and new fats that can cause a person to become overweight without eating much.

Obesity- a heavy issue in our world
Obesity. When you say the word, you probably picture some fat lady, waddling around eating a big Mac and say, that'll never happen to me. Yet, you will probably go home and eat your weight in chips. I know because I'd do the same. Obesity has become a serious epidemic, sweeping the globe and creating a generation of sad, sad, overweight people.
Kids may think their metabolism will last forever, but sooner or later, they'll deal with the consequences. This may not be entirely their fault though! Bad examples from mom and dad can drive a child to do the same, and their bad eating and exercise habits can rub off without them noticing, until it's too late. Children and parents around the world need to know the consequences and signs of obesity, and how to deal with it. I believe with more educational programs about healthy life habits, we could battle this awful "disease" and be victorious!
To do such a thing though, people must be willing to work hard for change. Sometimes, a state of depression can come from being overweight, and people become content to just sit there and let themselves grow into a blob of goo. They may not be prepared to change their ways and turn their life around, as a lot of physical and psychological work is involved. Before beginning our path to the "cure" we must find a way to motivate people to change!
In conclusion, obesity is not only a physical state but also a state of mind. For someone to change it is difficult, and so it remains a road block in our path to a better world.
